Mit der zunehmenden Verbreitung von drahtlosen Kommunikationssystemen wie WLAN und drahtlosem Kabelfernsehen ist auch die Nachfrage nach zuverl�ssiger digitaler �bertragung gestiegen. Antennen sind ein wesentlicher Bestandteil drahtloser Kommunikationssysteme und das Antennendesign wirkt sich auf die Leistung der Verbindung aus. Eine Antenne wird verwendet, um ein HF-Signal, das auf einem Leiter �bertragen wird, in elektromagnetische Wellen im freien Raum umzuwandeln. In diesem Buch werden verschiedene Arten von linearen Antennenanordnungen wie Breitseiten-, Binomial- und Dolph-Tschebyscheff-Anordnungen untersucht. Anschlie�end wurden sie auf der Grundlage der durch die abstrahlenden Elemente flie�enden Str�me verglichen, wobei das Strahlungsmuster berechnet und zur Visualisierung mithilfe von MATLAB grafisch dargestellt wurde. Die rechteckigen Antennenarrays wurden untersucht und mithilfe verschiedener Befehle in Form von DSP-Tools synthetisiert. Die rechteckige Anordnung wurde zusammen mit ihrem Anordnungsfaktor untersucht und auf dieser Grundlage wurde die Analyse einer bestimmten Anordnung mit den Gleichungen durchgef�hrt. Die Optimierung der Richtwirkung von rechteckigen Anordnungen wurde durch die Ermittlung der relativen Positionen der einzelnen Strahler erreicht.
