The past is whispering. The letters are watching. Sincerely Yours…is a haunting, supernatural-tinged mystery where nothing is a coincidence—and no one is safe from the truth!

Haven Cove, 1989—a seemingly idyllic seaside town shrouded in shadows and secrets. Streets whisper with forgotten stories as writers mysteriously vanish, and a secret society lurks in the background, holding the key to the darkness. Seventeen-year-old Josie Worthington, a rebellious spirit fueled by 80s alternative music and dreams of becoming a writer, gets her chance when she secures a cadetship at the local newspaper and writes the Sincerely Yours advice column. Little does she know, her world is about to take a chilling, surreal turn.

Enter Blaine Cordwell, the mysterious son of a famous L.A. rock star, trying to escape the spotlight. His eyes, filled with secrets, are drawn to Josie’s honesty and fearless independence. In her, he finds something real—something missing from his polished, noise-filled world. But when ghostly, anonymous letters arrive at the paper, warning Josie she will disappear forever unless she and Blaine solve the mysteries of Haven Cove, their fragile connection becomes an essential thread. Together, they must face the darkness lurking beneath the town’s seemingly perfect surface.

Infused with 80s nostalgia, a slow-burning romance, and a Spotify mixtape rivaling the Stranger Things soundtrack, this story weaves an unforgettable tale. It will tug at your heartstrings, blurring the line between truth and fiction, destiny and choice.

Sonia D. Hebdon is an Australian Christian author who writes for outsider teens and young adults who see the world a little differently.Sonia's stories are for the quiet observers, deep thinkers, and those who have never quite fit the mold and never felt the need to. As an autism advocate and mother of three autistic teens, she brings lived experience, empathy, and faith into every book she writes. Her YA paranormal mystery series, Haven Cove, blends small-town secrets, living ink, and unexplained phenomena with subtle threads of faith. Often described as Nancy Drew meets Stranger Things, the series carries an unmistakable 80s alternative edge while exploring identity, purpose, and what it means to believe when reality feels fractured.Sonia also writes autism-positive early readers for newly diagnosed children, helping them recognize their differences as God-given strengths rather than limitations. Her nonfiction work, The Crazy Mother's Guide, offers a candid, faith-based survival guide for families navigating autism, depression, and the difficult moments rarely discussed out loud. For alternative teens and young adults drawn to darker aesthetics, retro influences, layered mysteries, and faith woven gently beneath the surface, Sonia's books offer more than an escape. They offer belonging. You are not alone. You were created with purpose. And who you are is something to be proud of.
