Hardback, approx 7 x 4.5 inches. Red leather binding with decorative paneled boards, gilt to front and blind embossed on rear board. Red speckled page edges. Marbled endpapers. In very good condition. Contemporary rebound covers. New endpapers. Some minor rubbing to edges of frontis plate and title page. Neat inscriptions to top edge of title page ?Tyrwhitt Drake.? One or two very minor handling marks else pages all very clean, bright and tight throughout. An excellent early copy. 473pp + 2pp advertisments. Illustrated with an engraved frontis portrait.

Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We

library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
