If you are a single parent, you already know you have one of the hardest jobs in the world. Trying to be both dad and mom--breadwinner, cook, chauffeur, comforter, dishwasher, homework helper, disciplinarian, nurse, and role mode--can wear down the hardiest man or woman. But do you know that God, in the Bible, offers words of grace, power, and hope especially for you? In CCEFs Single Parents: Daily Grace for the Hardest Job, Robert D. Jones addresses the many different issues that single parents struggle with--guilt, bad memories, anger, bitterness, resentment, loss, grief, and fear. Then he shares biblical truths and practical parenting strategies that will give you hope and direction for each day. All the New Growth Press minibooks in our Christian bookstore offer gospel-centered hope for everyday issues like parenting, marriage, and personal change. These easy-to-read discipleship and biblical counseling resources tackle lifes toughest issues in 30 minutes or less. Minibooks are frequently used by pastors and ministry leaders to help others apply biblical wisdom to specific life issues.
