About the Author

Gail R. Shapiro is the author of six non-fiction books. She founded a community women's center, which pioneered Womankind's Financial Literacy Project. Named as a Daily Point of Light by President G.W. Bush, and honored at The National Women's Hall of Fame, she holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
