Diane, a factory worker in Cambridge, is saving to make a home for herself and her younger disabled sister, to escape their troubled family. But she cannot protect her sister from betrayal by a family friend.

Sophisticated New Yorker Nina wants to be the very best alternative press journalist. While covering the Boston Black Panther Party, she befriends its handsome Minister of Information, and her attempt to help the cause lands them both directly into a trap set by J. Edgar Hoover and his henchmen.

To Sisterhood! covers the formative and turbulent period in the lives of these four friends through August, 1972 - a time when chaos in the streets echoed the chaos within families divided by the Vietnam War, changing social mores, and expectations for women of all ages.
