Original silver print photograph, 4.25" x 7.25" plus margins. CONDITION: Very good, a few small stains to margins. Original silver print photograph, #304 in the series of La Roche s photos of Alaska. Frank La Roche (1853-1936) was a Philadelphia born and trained photographer, who settled in Seattle in the wake of the great fire in 1899. He operated a gallery on 2nd Avenue, and in addition to the typical portrait photography, his firm produced numerous iconic views of western Washington, as well as southeast Alaska before and after the turn of the century.
