About the Author

David Almond naci� en Newcastle en 1951 y en la actualidad vive en Northumberland con su familia. En 2010 fue galardonado con el Hans Christian Andersen, el premio Nobel de la literatura infantil. Sus historias se han traducido en m�s de 20 pa�ses, siendo Skellig la m�s aclamada y popular. En 2021 fue nombrado Oficial de la Orden del Imperio Brit�nico por sus servicios a la literatura.
