A collection of plates, showing Glastonbury, Crowland, Kirkstall, Rouen, Caen, Louviers, and more. With twenty-six plates. He held the prestigious position of Painter in Water-Colours in Ordinary to King George IV and Queen Victoria. Collated from Copac from a copy held at Edinburgh University, complete. Undated, dated from Copac from a copy held at the British Library. Bookplate of Roy and Nina Merley to the front pastedown. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart.
