In The Skies of Forgotten Courage: The RNAS and the RAF in the Adriatic and Albania 1917 1918

This book tells the largely unknown story of the RNAS and RAF in combat in the southern Adriatic and Albania in 1917–18. The book has 364 pages, 342 photos, 29 maps and drawings, and 33 color profiles of the aircraft. The book is of interest to historians, enthusiasts, and modelers alike.

Andrea Casarrubea is a member of the League of WWI Aviation Historians. An architect by training, he has been researching WWI aviation on the Italian Front for 30 years. In the early 1990s, after serving with the Italian Navy, he decided to focus on the Adriatic war theatre. This book is the fruit of his many years of research in all the main libraries and archives, both public and private, in Italy, the UK, and other countries.
