The Skylark Sings: Random Notes on Loss, Lies and Love

The languages of love are spoken about often. No matter the language, it is within the recesses of the heart that love grows, and it is within the heart that voices of love are acknowledged by those who hear them. Romantic gestures, lusty encounters, and perfect moments kindle the joy of being able to love, but perhaps the real value lies in the experience of being open to the possibility of love.

The Skylark Sings intones the languages of love, the lies often heard or uttered, and the loss that can accompany love and life. With notes, thoughts, and beautiful lines, the author stitches a patchwork quilt of love, lust, and deceit that often accompany the pursuit of true love. Readers may take heart knowing that, if allowed to manifest itself in true form, love does not have to be perfect. It just needs to be true.
