Skylighting Format: Trade Paperback

After losing his wife in a sudden accident, a man abandons his life in New York City for a low-rent life in a Florida beach town. He lets a year pass without plans or direction. He simply accepts what comes: strangers, chance encounters, a slow unmooring from everything he once knew. But grief, it turns out, has its own undertow, and beneath the drift something in him begins, almost against his will, to loosen.

Skylighting is a lyrical, unsentimental novel about what loss actually does to a life, and the reluctant, unglamorous path back toward renewal.

A Reading Group Choices selection.
