The covers are decorative cloth olive green and gold also containing color lettering on the title page.(shown in photo 5) The story is clever fiction that ties in English history with its natural landmarks. You can also note the handwritten documentation about how R.D Blackmore perceived his country which helped him to come up with the contents of the story.(shown in photo 4). More features of the book include top edge gilt and other edges deckled.(shown in photos 9 and 10). Please check the photos and ask questions.

Condition: ?GD(Good)-The covers have minor to moderate staining and/or soiling. The boards have a 1/2-1 inch split along the spine and the front board is partially loose but not detached, The interior pages are mostly off-white with minor to moderate staining with holes punched on top right corners(does not detract from condition). Overall, this is a very nice and highly collectible copy that presents well?.
