About the Author: Robert G. Hooper is a sleep, pulmonary and critical care physician with twenty-five years experience practicing in the field of sleep medicine. This includes training physicians and healthcare professionals in sleep medicine, clinical practice, establishing and directing a sleep laboratory and clinical research. His varied research has appeared in many medical journals including The New England Journal of Medicine. Other published writings by Dr Hooper include essays on the practice of medicine, articles on medical management and patient education materials. He lives in Arizona and practices medicine in Scottsdale.
