Synopsis
Lexie Ellis has been driven into a corner by her father and finds herself forced undercover on an assignment for a two-bit newspaper. She hates the duplicitous lifestyle, excels at her undercover job and falls in love with her new boss. Zander Duval-Adams, CEO of Two's Company, experiences an intense attraction to his latest member of staff. Problem is he doesn't date colleagues, nor does he trust her - and trust is a deal breaker for him. As Zander and Lexie cave in to the growing bond between them, they both find themselves the subject of malicious newspaper gossip and accusations. Lexie's true identity is exposed by the gutter press and their relationship lies in tatters. How much of the accusations reported in the papers is true? Is their relationship irretrievably discarded? Do they chalk it up to raging lust and toss it away as Zander vows to trust his gut in future? In 'Sleeping with a Traitor', you'll find strong, likeable characters in a story of love and betrayal, of hope and despair and of lust and longing. -------------------------------------- This is the second book in the Duval-Adams series. Zander and his twin brother, Matt, own and run a hugely successful international restaurant and catering business. Orphaned at eighteen, they became responsible for their twelve year old sisters, Tess and Ronnie. They overcame extreme parental debt, brought up their sisters and rewrote their futures, becoming highly acclaimed and sought after multi-millionaires in the process. The first book is 'Heat in the Kitchen', a story of love and support for Matt and Ella. The final two books tell Tess and Ronnie's stories and will be available later in 2013.
About the Author
Sarah loves happy ever afters. This goes back to her childhood when she would sit and watch the weekly sunday afternoon movie - musical comedy, fred & ginger, all the great actors and actresses. As she grew up she moved from the moving visual to the written visual and read Mills and Boon. A serious career and life took over until she rediscovered the written word and fell in love again with the 'happy ever afters'. Now she writes her own and hopes that her readers enjoy reading them as much as she loves creating them. Sarah now lives in Scotland with her family and when she's not writing or taxi'ing her son around, she enjoys walking, spending time with friends and watching musical comedy. Yes, she still loves that too - in the cinema and on the stage. In fact she's no stranger to treading the boards herself and has played the female lead in shows like Me & My Girl.
