Sleigh Bells Ring

One festive homecoming. One unexpected attraction. And a Christmas mystery no one has ever been able to explain.

Every December, Nicole Robinson returns to Hebden Bridge for a month of festive chaos with her siblings—her no-nonsense sister Beth and her kind-hearted brother Liam, who has lived with a cognitive disability since a childhood accident.

The Robinsons are loud, loving and overflowing with tradition. But one family mystery has never been solved: the origin of the sleigh bells they hear every Christmas Eve.

There is one tradition Nicole could happily do without—getting dumped by December. Her relationships always seem to fizzle out before Christmas, and this year is no exception. Beth has even made her an Advent calendar counting down to the next inevitable breakup.

But this Christmas, something is different.

Niamh—Liam’s childhood best friend and one of the few people who stood by him after the accident—has returned to town after ten years away. Now a stunning, sharp-witted Irishwoman, she is nothing like the girl Nicole remembers.

And Nicole certainly never expected to see her this way.

As mysterious sleigh bells echo and the hot chocolate flows, Nicole and Niamh find themselves caught between a familiar family connection and an attraction that feels entirely new.

But can Niamh find a place inside the Robinsons’ slightly mad, fiercely loving holiday bubble—or will Nicole’s latest Christmas romance melt away like snow?

Sleigh Bells Ring is a cosy sapphic Christmas romance about unexpected attraction, family bonds, festive homecomings and the possibility that some kinds of magic are better left unexplained.
