Synopsis
Written by Brendan Stack, a CEO with vast experience in turnarounds, A Slice of Cake on Every Plate contains everything necessary to introduce and maintain the Positive & Supportive (P&S) Program. This book uses many actual experiences to explain ten policies and practices that allow us to be more productive and fulfilled in our professional and personal lives. The P&S Program removes the most common causes for dissatisfaction at work and between individuals of all levels. It quickly drives out negativity, harmful personal politics, destructive cliques, griping, rumors, resistance to change, unfounded job insecurity, and many poor management practices that make the work environment unpleasant. The P&S Program is practical, flexible, inexpensive, self administered, and is considered essential as a foundation for all improvement programs such as Lean.
