She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at The University of Colorado, her Master's Degree in Cellular and Structural Biology from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at AT Still University. She has been a practicing physical therapist since 1975.
