About the Author
Frederik Dhondt is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Research Group CORE) and Voluntary Collaborator at the Ghent Legal History Institute and the Gustave Rolin Jaequemyns Institute of International Law (GRILI). His publications focus on the history of legal argumentation and diplomacy from the 18th century onwards, such as Balance of Power and Norm Hierarchy: Franco-British Diplomacy after the Peace of Utrecht (Brill, 2015).
