Small Renaissance Bronzes

Book would be rated Fine but for a tiny nick on bottom edge of rear board and mild, barely visible discoloration to edges and spine ends. Dust jacket is clean and bright, with no markings or tears, very mild shelf wear, and remains of small label on front flap. 157 pages, well illustrated with 67 color plates. "During the last thirty years of the 15th century, Renaissance Italy developed a passion for small bronze statuettes. The author traces this almost exclusively Italian art through the 15th and 16th centuries, revealing the development of the statute as an independent artistic creation.".
