Dr Kalanit Ben-Ari has worked as a family and couples therapist for more than 15 years and has a private clinic in Hampstead, London. She is a parenting expert and author, and the mother of two little book-lovers.
She gained her BA and MA in Social Work (Clinical Child Development) at the University of Haifa in Israel, and was awarded a Doctorate in psychology from the Institute for the Study of Children, Families and Social Issues at Birkbeck (University of London). She is also a Certified Imago Therapist and the Chair of Imago UK. She serves as a Board Director at IRI (Imago Relationship International).
Dr Ben-Ari frequently teaches and lectures on a variety of parental and couples topics, and is a certified workshop presenter for some of the best-known parenting programmes. Based on her research and clinic work, she developed her own programme for parents in her clinic groups, community and educational centres. With extensive experience in working with couples and families, she helps parents establish and maintain the relationships they desire.
