Lord Thomson had previously been Minister for Air in 1923-24 and 1929-30 serving under Ramsay Macdonald. This book was part of a collection donated after Sir Christopher Bullock's death to the IWM. Bullock was a top civil servant - Permanent Secretary at the Air Ministry.
