Smart E-Mobility (Paperback)

Paperback. As the global automotive industry shifts toward sustainable energy, the Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) has emerged as a robust, magnet-free alternative for electric propulsion. This book provides a comprehensive deep-dive into the integration of SRM drives within Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) architectures. The core of this work addresses the inherent challenges of SRM-such as torque ripple and acoustic noise-by implementing an intelligent Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC). Readers will explore: > The fundamental design and operational principles of SRMs. > Power converter topologies tailored for PHEV applications. > Step-by-step implementation of Fuzzy Logic to optimize drivetrain efficiency. > Comparative performance analysis between traditional and intelligent control strategies.
