Smart Lifelong Learning (Paperback or Softback)

Lifelong learning is much more than reskilling and upskilling. Smart Lifelong Learning is about taking on change, learning from change and building competence on the back of change.

Written by a leading educationalist and respected thought-leader on education and pedagogical innovation, this book prompts us to look at lifelong learning and a completely different way to just skills acquisition. The forces that necessitate lifelong learning give rise to unique learning challenges. By focusing on lifelong learning from cradle to grave, the book pushes the boundaries of learning to give rise to novel learning approaches and strategies that align learning journeys with the unfolding reality of persistent change and disruption. The book sets out how everyone operating in the learning space (formal education and beyond) also has to change. The future will require smart matrix learning that is endowment-driven, future-led, and tech-enabled.

The book is for professionals seeking to learn and grow in their careers, but crucially also for educators, educational administrators and policy makers, and corporate training and development managers looking to develop new ways of working.
