vi, 774, [2] p., frontispiece and 3 double-leaf plans, folded color map of Pennsylvania attached to back foxed endpaper: tables; 15 cm. Contemporary calf with five spine compartments between raised bands. Gilt-tooled title in second compartment: Smull's Legislative Hand-Book. Gilt-tooled title on front board: Legislative Hand-Book; the same blind-tooled on back board. Title page in orange and black. Brown endpapers. Includes election results by township for the 1880 election for president and other offices. Former owner's name in gilt on front board: "Jno. B. Seidel, House of Reps." John B. Seidel (1813-1888) represented Lebanon County in the Pennsylvania House in 1881-82 and was engaged in the iron industry most of his life. In Very Good+ Condition: edges are rubbed; two old page corners creased; clean and tight; map is clean and crisp.
