Snowed In With A Werewolf

Lucius Lawson has secrets.

Governor of New York, serious contender for future president of the United States, and king of the supernatural creatures, Luc likes power. After a grueling childhood as a pawn in someone else’s game, he’s promised to never be at a disadvantage again.

Luc plays others like chess pieces, governing humans by day and ruling the supernatural creatures with an iron fist by night. He doesn’t make mistakes or have weaknesses.

Until he meets a waitress—and follows her home.

Penny Lakes is just trying to keep going.

Ever the family disappointment, Penny works as a waitress in her sister’s restaurant, rents a room in her sister’s house, and mourns who she could have been.

Until one night, she’s woken up by an attempted robbery—and the governor himself trying to stop it.

Now she’s in his world.

Saving Penny exposes her to all sorts of people who want Luc dead. Whisking her away to a remote cabin, Luc is determined to keep her safe and maybe get her to fall in love with him—but will the plan be helped or hindered by the snowstorm brewing outside?
