The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952), produced by 20th Century Fox, is a drama film based on Ernest Hemingway's short story of the same name. Directed by Henry King, it stars Gregory Peck as Harry Street, Ava Gardner as his estranged love Cynthia, and Susan Hayward as his loyal wife Helen. The film weaves flashbacks with present-day scenes, following a wounded writer reflecting on his life and loves while stranded in Africa. While Hemingway's original story is introspective and somber, the film expands on the narrative, adding romantic subplots and a more optimistic tone. It was praised for its performances, lush cinematography, and evocative setting, though some critics noted it deviated significantly from Hemingway’s work. There's a final working script on eBay currently listed at $815.00 in lesser condition -- making this a bargain.…

Store description
My name is Jim Camp, and I own and operate the synaesthesia press. First and foremost, the synaesthesia press is a very small, very independent publishing house specializing in broadsides and chapbooks letterpress printed in a small run. Authors and artists past published include Tosh Berman, Tim O’Brien, Barry Gifford, Charles Bukowski, and Charles Plymell, among others. As a bookseller, I offer a variety of inventory -- I especially love stuff that is considered generally subversive; for example, anything by or about Beatniks, Outlaws, Perverts, Weirdos, and Outsiders; good literary fiction (especially "dirty" and / or forgotten titles by forgotten authors) and almost anything by or about Bukowski. I love photography, especially found amateur snapshots and professionally made vintage photographic prints; little mags, zines, photo books, art books and Artists Books; and, finally, anything smutty or sleazy or erotic or cheesecake-related vintage publications, photos or ephemera. Thanks!…
