About the Author
Karen Sinclair earned a Master of Science degree in Business Systems Analysis and Design from The City University in London, England, a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Guyana and a Certificate in Lay Ministry from the United Methodist Church in America. Her work is propelled by social responsibility. In addition to this book defining the social imprint on sexual identity and sexual orientation, Karen also wrote Jungle Heart, a book of meaningful poetry savoring bittersweet facets of contemporary life. Her book Little Polka Sock, an illustrated children's story book, is packed with fun, laughter, rhyme and fantasy and skillfully spiked with tidbits to engage and nurture young minds. Having pursued successful careers as University Lecturer, Systems Analyst, entrepreneur and business consultant, Karen has multi-disciplinary interests and pursuits and is active in public speaking, lay ministry and community service. Karen lives in New Jersey, USA.
