Social Problems Of Today: Or The Mormon Question In Its Economic Aspects (1886)

Social Problems Of Today: Or The Mormon Question In Its Economic Aspects is a book written in 1886 by Dyer Daniel Lum. The book focuses on the economic aspects of the Mormon religion, which was a controversial topic during that time period. Lum examines the impact of Mormonism on the economy of the United States, particularly in the western states where the religion was most prevalent. The book also explores the social problems that arose as a result of the Mormon practice of polygamy, which was illegal at the time. Lum provides a detailed analysis of the economic and social effects of Mormonism, and offers his own opinions on how to address these issues. The book is a valuable historical document that sheds light on the complex social and economic issues of the late 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
