The study discusses the importance of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), entrepreneurship, skill development, and government welfare schemes in improving women's economic and social conditions. It reviews the contribution of women to agriculture and rural livelihoods while emphasizing barriers such as patriarchal norms, violence, unequal opportunities, and lack of resources. The document also explores women's political participation, legal rights, and the role of education in empowerment. Overall, it concludes that sustainable rural development depends on enhancing women's education, employment, financial independence, equal rights, leadership opportunities, and active participation in family, community, and national development.
