About the Author

He is author of some 150 articles and 15 books, including the bestselling Sociology: A Global Introduction (with John Macionis, fifth edition, 2012). His most recent books include Cosmopolitan Sexualities (2015), Narrative Power (2019), and Critical Humanism (2021).
