Kumar S. Ray, PhD, is a professor in the Electronics and Communication Science Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, computer vision, commonsense reasoning, soft computing, non-monotonic deductive database systems, and DNA computing.
