About the Author
Phillip Bailey has been a Quality Assurance professional since the late 1990s. He has successfully led projects as diverse as The Flip video camera to Magic: The Gathering Online; from The Fly Pentop Computer to Pokemon. Phillip has managed the testing of computer games, educational software, IT infrastructure, LAN/WAN, network security, web sites, databases, computer hardware, and consumer electronics. During the last decade-plus, he has trained over 200 quality assurance testers, leads, and managers. Beginning as a tester, Phillip has worked as a lead, manager, trainer, and consultant. He has benefitted from working with and for some of the finest Quality Assurance Professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Through many years and countless projects it became clear to him that a non-technical avenue of entry was necessary to enable high-quality professionals to enter the QA field.
