Soil And Groundwater Matrix

The existence of microorganisms was hypoth- esized for many centuries before their actual discovery. Fresh water microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms. This book explores the diversity, interactions and activi- ties of microbes within freshwater environ- ments. The study is relevant as these micro- organisms can play an important role in both purifying and polluting water systems. This will be a must have possession for scientists, ecologists and students.
