The Soil That Raised Me (Paperback)

Paperback. "In this collection, Watters weaves together tranquility, sweetness, nostalgia (just a little), patience, humility, and a deep appreciation for nature. Elements of the quotidian and physical world (storms, clouds, garden implements, worms, birds) are spoken with affection and care, as if they're his friendly neighbors. Reading these poems helps me slow down, take a deep breath, let it out slowly-and listen. All of a sudden, I can hear the bird calls I'd been tuning out before."Elisabeth Blairwriter, editor, multidisciplinary artist This item is printed on demand.
