Solar Power: Capturing the Sun's Energy (A True Book: Alternative Energy)

Though it lies nearly 100 million miles away, the sun nourishes all life on Earth with its powerful energy.

The sun is by far the most abundant source of energy on the planet. It keeps us warm, it helps plants grow, and it's even a great way to generate electricity. Readers (Grades 3-5) will learn all about solar power, from how it reaches our planet to which technology we use to capture its energy.
