A flawless example of the First Edition Library's beautiful facsimiles of the first issue of Faulkner's novel. A new book still in the shrink wrap. The quality of these facsimiles is nothing short of extraordinary. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Published in the 1980s, these facsimiles are now collectible in their own right. The information card with first edition points and other information about the book and its publication should be present in the book inside the sealed slipcase. The Easton Press did not pick this book up when they purchased FEL, hence this book would have been published by FEL rather than Easton and include an infornation card. However, since many buyers prefer to keep the book in shrinkwrap, a color copy of an original information card on similar paper is included.
