The SOLE Balm II – Musings from the Pulpit, reveals a different aspect of the insightful and inspirational guidance from Chaplain Elmon Krupnik. Although these intuitive musings have a similar tone to the first book, The SOLE Balm – A Chaplain’s Musings, this literary work is unique as it is focuses on three main challenges: Life, Liberty and Leadership.  This book reveals a “behind the scenes” glimpse into the heart and mind of a servant of God and Country. What life lessons influence and impact a sermon on Sunday, Chaplain Krupnik shares all. This book provides thought-provoking lessons to help draw us closer to God and guide us in our every-day lives.

Elmon Krupnik married his wife, Lynn (a practicing attorney) in 1981. They have four adult children and 14 grandchildren. He was ordained as a minister in 1989. Professor Krupnik teaches as an adjunct instructor of history, military history, philosophy, sociology, psychology and religion at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Chaplain Krupnik serves in a leadership capacity in his civilian, ministerial, and military positions.  He holds a Ph.D from Capella University, a M.Div. from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
