Solid State Lasers and their Common Problems: Laser Resonator Wavelength Selection (Laser Technician Level III)

These course notes, workbook and self-test booklets are intended for Level III Laser Technicians. In a manufacturing environment, they generally fabricate lasers, including the installation and testing of laser pumps. This booklet focuses on laser output wavelength selection techniques and associated issues.

Dr. Sydney Sukuta is currently a Laser Technology professor in Silicon Valley in California, USA. He also has industry experience working for some of the world's leading laser manufacturers in Silicon Valley where he saw first-hand the issues they encounter daily. In response, Dr. Sukuta developed prescriptive short courses to help absolve most of these issues.
