Solution to a Fatherless Nation

Statistics indicate that fatherless families are poorer; are more likely to suffer from stress, depression, and other emotional and psychological issues; and are more prone to serious health problems. In Solution to a Fatherless Nation, author Jerry L. Macon addresses this issue and seeks to find remedies to this growing problem.

Macon, who grew up in a fatherless home, knows firsthand how this living situation can have a profound effect on everyone in the household. Children may feel rejected and abandoned and seek solace elsewhere. He discovered that the answer is entering into a relationship with the father of fathers-which is God via Jesus Christ through the life guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Using personal stories, scriptures, and statistics to illustrate this growing social problem, Solution to a Fatherless Nation provides advice to combat fatherless homes. It advocates becoming a pioneer and breaking the cycle-be the first in the family to go where other family members have not gone before.

Jerry L. Macon earned a bachelor's degree in social work. He is an ordained minister through Trinity Ministries and is ecclesiastically endorsed through the Chaplaincy of Full Gospel Churches, Dallas, Texas. Together with his wife, Tiffany, Macon pastors Trinity Love Church Full Gospel, Dallas. They have four children.
