Song of Echoes: 1

“I find it rare for books published today to have that feel of classic epic fantasy, but R.E. Palmer perfectly captures the atmosphere of the fantasy stories of old.” — The Lit Review

All that has ever been is woven into the Song.
But new voices rise within—voices of dark discord.
And the few who hear the echoes know what comes.

For three hundred years, the Five Realms have known peace. Now, that peace is breaking.

Elodi never wanted to rule. But when her father dies, she is thrust into power—her authority questioned, her people divided, and a horror from the past already at her gates. Yet what she faces is only the beginning. Beyond her borders, greater evils stir.

Toryn is a farmhand haunted by a legacy that could kill him. Driven from his home and thrust onto a perilous path, he is forced to confront a truth buried in his blood. When a long-hidden power begins to awaken, he must decide: run from what he is… or embrace it.

As their journeys unfold, it becomes clear the Song is changing—and something forgotten is returning. Yet the greatest danger may come from those who fail to grasp the true nature of the threat.

And those who might stand against it are far apart. Mountains divide them. Leagues stretch vast and unforgiving. Failure will cost them all they hold dear.

Song of Echoes is the first book in the completed five-book epic fantasy series, Legacy of the Stones. A tale of ancient mysteries, unforgettable characters and epic adventure, it is perfect for readers who long for the timeless grandeur of classic epic fantasy.

“It has the depth of Tolkien, the storytelling of Sanderson, and the epic scope of Jordan.” — Goodreads Review
