About the Author

Malathi V. Moily is married to Dr M. Veerappa Moily, a multifaceted personality who was the former Chief Minister of Karnataka and is presently Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Malathi has penned several short stories and poems in Kannada. She has also collaborated with her husband in penning the epic poem, Sri Ramayana Mahanveshanam, which won the prestigious Moortidevi Award. She is currently editing an epic poem on Draupadi, Yugavandhye Yagnaseni, which has been composed by Dr Moily. Malathi is a great pillar of artistic and creative strength to the family.
