My name is Reverend Rene Johnson. I am a man who grew up in the inner-city streets of Los Angeles and the tough neighborhoods. My first love was baseball, but I ended up being a hustler in the streets, like many of my family members-but I was the best. After many ups and downs and trials and tribulations, I found myself in prison at fifty years old where I met the Lord really for the first time. We met, we fell in love, and he went to work on me and began a good work in me, which he is still completing. I wrote A Soul on Fire for the Lord through the Holy Spirit. Today I am out of prison. I am a leading businessman in the transportation business at Avon Rent a Car, Truck and Van-Beverly Hills. I am thriving. I am exhorting people, lifting them up, praying for them, and doing kingdom work. Remember it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). My eyes have seen the Lord, and my soul will continue to be on fire while I have the breath of life in my body. I am an overcomer through faith. The founding scripture of this book is John 7:38, where it says, "He who believes in me, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
