Soul Primer

The world as we know it is rapidly changing.

In some ways, it seems there is a greater darkness emerging as violence and desperation continue to erupt in corners of the globe and millions of people suffer from hunger, homelessness, and hopelessness.

In other ways, it seems there is a greater light shining as people are awakening to a better way, a way that is filled with love, inclusiveness, and spiritual wholeness.

The question is: How to change from living in darkness to living in light?
If you want to be, and want the world to be, shining in the light, then Soul Primer is for you.

Soul Primer is a toolbox for learning and practicing - or relearning and expanding - the skills that lead to a life filled with light, joy, hope, and abundance. Soul Primer makes these vast concepts, and others, accessible to even the busiest person. Designed as a 26-week program, the book guides the reader through one page of text per week (only one page!) with manageable daily exercises for incorporating the skill into your life. True to the ABC format, each concept includes accompanying images, commissioned from local artists, to enhance your experience with the spiritual practice. Whether it be learning to meditate, find joy, be kinder, let go of fears, or any of the 22 other practices, much can be gained by studying and practicing through the pages of Soul Primer.

Many people feel our world is nearing a crisis state, with rising concerns over climate change, refugee populations, economic disparity, continual war, crimes of hate, and more.

Unfortunately, government plans and new regimes cannot, alone, provide the transformation this world needs to survive in peace and prosperity. The only way to truly change from living in darkness to living in light is a sea swell of transformed individuals. One by one, we must each start adopting the types of skills that Soul Primer teaches.

Until we change ourselves, we will never change the world. The change starts with you.

The Evolution of the World starts with, no depends upon, the Evolution of the Individual.

Take the steps now to Be a Force For Good.

And pay it forward so that the transformation of love and well-being spreads across the earth.

Many blessings and Much Abundance, Cate

As the eighth of twelve children, Cate began observing humanity at an early age. An avid reader and writer, she has always had a passion for exploring human behavior. After wandering through college, she graduated with degrees in English and French and a BA in Education. With big plans to see the world, her travels have taken her to live on four continents: North America, Africa, Australia, and Europe, where she worked with different Shamans to understand native traditions. Cate's home base is Washington State, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. It was there that she achieved her greatest accomplishment of raising three fine sons, all off now on their own splendid trajectories. On the side, she owned and ran multiple businesses, including a multi-million dollar medical equipment company, a commercial development company, and an FAA flight school. During her aviation years, she particularly loved observing how learning to fly empowered people, especially women and teens. After selling her business in 2012 and 2014, she decided to focus on empowering people through her writing. In 2013, she published her first book, Silent Sky. This mystery, set in Seattle, tells the tale of a badass young female defense attorney (who happens to be an aviatrix) assigned to defend a mute woman accused of attempted murder. It is a rolicking adventure with a message of empowerment. In 2014, Cate earned her Life Coaching certificate through the Tony Robbins school of coaching, and began officially using her life-long skills of mentoring, teaching, and guiding to help people who were suffering and lost. It is from all of these cumulative experiences that she derives the wisdom to put into her books, such as Soul Primer. Cate continues to coach and write spiritual wisdom to help make the world a better place (as well as poetry to nourish the soul). She is an inspirational speaker, ordained minister, meditation teacher, and part-time shaman. Due to the amazing response she has received for Soul Primer, she is currently working on Soul Primer II which will include more life skills to create the best of trouble-free lives.
