About this title

Synopsis

After being cast out by the Vampire Guild, Christian was left to wander the shadowy sewers of Paris for nearly two centuries. Overcoming his fears despite the oppressive darkness and the constant threat of danger, guided by the souls he has reaved and a vision of hope and love, Christian embarks on a journey that takes him from the murky alleyways of Paris to the opulent halls of England's royal bloodline and, ultimately, the very heart of the vampire species hidden deep within the Carpathian Mountains.

Christian is thrust into a battle to save himself and the world from the clutches of the malevolent Necromancer, whose black magic has driven the vampire species to the brink of extinction. This evil entity has stolen a significant portion of the world's magic and transformed a once-thriving valley into a barren wasteland. From this Valley of Darkness, she dispatches her acolytes to collect the remaining magical tomes to unlock the Path of Kaldoron, the birthplace of all magic, and seize dominion over the world.

Armed with only the souls he has consumed and the companions he has met along the journey, Christian must fulfil his destiny and emerge victorious, or all is lost.

About the Author

R.A. Rayne is an American author who grew up in Huntington, WV. R.A. was born with a pirate's heart, a mind among the stars, and a pair of wandering, adventurous feet. He has always possessed a vivid imagination and loved creating his own worlds. Whether inventing battlegrounds for his Star Wars and G.I. Joe action figures or drifting off to sleep on some distant planet or alternate dimension, he has always been a natural storyteller. R.A. moved to Los Angeles, California, and discovered he preferred creating his own worlds over acting in someone else's. Consequently, he gradually transitioned from acting to writing. He has authored "Soul Reaver: Book One of A Vampire's Desire" and "Ruby Someday." His third novel, "Angel Dust," is guaranteed to anger and disturb its readers. R.A. has also written and produced several independent film scripts. He has hosted a pop culture podcast called Nerdibles for ten years. R.A. lives with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles, California.
