My Soul Stirs. This item is unavailable. My Soul Stirs

My Soul Stirs is a collection born from the quiet places of my life-moments that lingered long enough to become poetry, stories, and soulful reflections, many inspired by my friends and family. Every piece begins with where I truly am. As the words unfold, they take on a life of their own, rising from honest beginnings into something shaped, stirred, and transformed.

The layout of this book comes from a deeply rooted place in my heart. On the left, you'll find each poem just as it emerged. On the right, I share a brief glimpse into the experience or emotion that inspired it-what was happening in me as the words took form. Beside these, you are invited to pause and journal your own thoughts. Let this space be where you explore what the poem awakened in you, and how it connects to your own life experiences

May these words stir something in your soul-something true, something deep, something ready to grow.

Emily Howe is a brand-new writer of poetry. When her children began leaving the nest to start their own journeys, Emily found herself searching for her own sense of purpose. During that season, she began meeting with a local life coach with the hope of building a stronger relationship with her ailing father. Over time, that work marked the beginning of a new journey for her. After her father passed away, Emily experienced a profound moment of enlightenment during a trip to Sedona, Arizona, in March of 2023. She has always believed in signs, and she is certain that her father's spirit has visited her many times. Born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Emily and her husband Mike chose to raise their four children there, then moved to Two Rivers, a small town just down the road. When she's not writing poetry, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends in cozy coffee shops, gathering around large bonfires, and going to concerts.
