The Soul of Time is a collection of 25 poems that captures the essence of what it really means to live through, with, for and by time, its complexities and how interdimensional the soul of time is blending every individual's presence (and by every presence, even non-human creatures) with itself, thus fostering a timeless and eternal bond, which is inescapable. 'Life's a dreadful yet delectable poison- My consciousness eats happily, While my subconscious suffocates in stunningly. Under the umbrella of unsaid thoughts I find comfort in the woven lies, Negotiating with my guilt so that later on- my future smiles.' Indeed, what if time's soul is ours and is our soul time's?

Greetings! I'm Mariyam Shirolkar, and honestly, I don't write only because I love writing (though, yes, it's the one true thing I am utterly in love with). I write because if I don't, my soul explodes and then forgets to make sense of this hauntingly brutal world. Poetry, to me, is one of the most cruel yet fulfilling and harmonizing forms of human expression, it rips you apart quite deeply but also heals the dark and wounded parts of you like never before. I suppose I'm just one soul like many others, troubled and adorned by Time far too many times, trying not only to survive it, but sometimes even thrive in it by translating its soul's tales, feelings, experiences and lore!
