Mary Nurrie Stearns, L.C.S.W., a psychotherapist in private practice with twenty-five years of professional experience, has been the editor of "Personal Transformation" magazine since 1991. Mary and Rick speak nationwide on transformation. They live near Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Melissa West, M.S., is a psychotherapist, teacher and author who cofounded and codirects LifeQuest, a non-profit organization dedicated to contemporary rites of passsage. Based out of Seattle, Washington, she presents workshops and speaks nationwide on transformation, ritual and rits of passage.
