Synopsis:

EMOTIONS ARE NOT MENTAL - THEY'RE PHYSICAL ENERGY!

All the intellect, willpower and morality we can muster will not make emotions go away. But the healing instincts of a baby are wise -- sound, movement and tears will.

E-motion is just energy in motion. "Energy never disappears, it simply changes its form." Stopped energy creates pressure, which becomes no-ease (noise) and dis-ease.

Re-pressed energy ex-ploded is violence. Unshed tears become bullets.

Re-pressed energy im-ploded begins disease.

Cancer, I believe, begins with re-pressed anger and fear. Heart attacks and overweight begin by su-pressing tears. Neuroses and addiction begin when we re-press negative emotions. What's the opposite of de-pression? Ex-pression.

What a paradox that we already own the solution to many of our problems. Is there a "solution" more natural than a baby's Devine Design for healing? "Tears."

Nostradamus predicted that by 1998 we would be using "pure tone" to cure cancer. Is there a tone more pure, more natural, than our vocal response to pain, which we have learned, by 3, to inhibit?

About the Author: Cynthia Herman studied acting with the first class of the Juilliard School in New York. Her successful career includes working with Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Kevin Kline, Jack Lemmon, Henry Fonda, and dozens of other fine actors. She was a regular on the PBS series "Anyone for Tennyson" and has done voice-overs, music videos, TV pilots and more than 50 national commercials.

She also has studied metaphysics for 33 years. (The references to Jesus are as a teacher of Universal Laws, not as a religious leader.) Her keen observation and fascination with emotion were the inspiration for this book, which she takes little credit for writing, since it poured through her effortlessly in three weeks. She explains that repressed emotions are the root of most of our problems and teaches simple and harmless methods of releasing this hazardous energy. Its compelling message, written conversationally and humorously, makes it a hard-to-put-down book. Since the message came through in meter, with a rhythm to every sentence, the author also suggests the audio version of the book because rhythm helps us heal, and the voice is the audible vibration of the soul.
