About the Author

Archimandrite Father Eusebius A. Stephanou, Th.D., the son and grandson of priests, born in Fond Du Lac, WI. was ordained to the priesthood upon completion of his studies at the University of Athens, Greece. He is also a graduate of the University of Michigan, the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Seminary, and General Theological Seminary, New York, N.Y. In addition to holding a number of pastorates, Father Eusebius taught Systematic Theology for a period of six years, as professor and subdean in his alma mater, the Holy Cross Seminary, Brokkline, Mass. He later joined the faculty of the University of Notre Dame, as associate professor in the department of theology. In 1968, while pastoring the Holy Trinity Church in Ft. Wayne, Ind., he embarked on a Renewal Outreach with the publication of the monthly THE LOGOS, presently a newsletter renamed THE ORTHODOX EVANGELIST.
