About the Author

John Philip Newell is a Scottish poet, peacemaker, and scholar with a passion for peace among the great wisdom traditions of humanity. He is internationally acclaimed for his work in the field of Celtic spirituality, having authored over 19 books. They include /Sacred Earth, Sacred Soul, Christ of the Celts, and A New Ancient Harmony: the Spirit, the Earth, & the Human Soul<i/>. His most recent book is The Great Search: Turning to Earth & Soul in the Quest for Healing & Home;. Tobi Kahn is a painter and a sculptor whose work has been shown in over forty solo exhibitions and over sixty museum and group shows. He was selected as one of nine artists to be included in the 1985 Guggenheim Museum exhibition, New Horizons in American Art. Kahn s fascination with the power of art for healing led to the creation, in 2001, of a permanent installation commissioned by the HealthCare Chaplaincy of New York. For thirty years, Kahn has been steadfast in the pursuit of his distinct vision and persistent in his commitment to the redemptive possibilities of art.
